Privacy Notice
Last updated: July 25, 2026
In compliance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties ("LFPDPPP"), its Regulations, and other applicable provisions regarding the processing of your personal data, and in fulfillment of the obligation of DUDEV, S.A. DE C.V. (hereinafter "Dudev") to protect the Personal Data of individuals provided when accessing or requesting any of our services through our mobile application (the "App" and/or "Telmi"), such data will be collected in the database that Telmi maintains. We therefore bring the following Privacy Notice to your attention.
Telmi is an artificial intelligence–powered technology platform that allows parents and guardians to create, personalize, and enjoy children's stories, illustrations, narrations, and other interactive content for family use.
Use of the App implies that the user acknowledges having read and understood this Privacy Notice. This Notice must be interpreted together with the Telmi Terms and Conditions of Use, which govern the contractual relationship between Telmi and the users of the platform.
CHAPTER I. Controller of the processing of personal data
For the purposes of the Applicable Legislation, the controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is Dudev, S.A. de C.V., with an address in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico.
If you need to contact the party responsible for the processing of Telmi's Personal Data, please send an email to the following address: info@dudev.com.mx.
CHAPTER II. Scope of the Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice applies to all persons who interact with Telmi. Third-party services or platforms that may integrate with Telmi, including authentication providers, payment services, artificial intelligence services, cloud infrastructure, or other technologies, may have their own privacy notices or policies, over which Dudev exercises no control and assumes no responsibility. We therefore recommend that users review the corresponding privacy policies before using such services.
CHAPTER III. Our Privacy Principles
Telmi has been designed for use by families and therefore recognizes the importance of providing reinforced protection for information related to children and adolescents.
Child profiles must be created and managed by a parent, guardian, or legal representative. Likewise, we seek to limit the processing of minors' personal data to the minimum necessary to provide our services.
We implement reasonably appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information against loss, alteration, destruction, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
However, no technological system can guarantee an absolute level of security; therefore, although we adopt reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee that the systems are completely invulnerable to security incidents.
CHAPTER IV. Personal Data We Collect
Dudev may collect different categories of personal data, either directly from the User, automatically through use of the application, or, where applicable, through third parties authorized by the User.
When the User chooses to register through third-party authentication services (for example, Sign in with Apple), we may receive certain information authorized by the User, including the unique identifier provided by Apple, the email address (when the User authorizes sharing it), and the basic profile information that Apple allows to be shared.
Dudev will only receive the information that the User expressly authorizes in accordance with the privacy settings of the relevant service.
Important: Telmi does not store or have access to the complete details of the bank cards used to make payments through Apple's App Store. All payments are processed directly by Apple in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.
While using Telmi, we may collect information related to the User's interaction with our services, including features used, frequency of use, time of use, configuration preferences, history of generated stories, history of generated illustrations, among others.
CHAPTER V. Sensitive Personal Data
As a general rule, Telmi does not request or require sensitive personal data to provide its services.
Should any feature in the future require the processing of such data, Dudev will update this Privacy Notice and, where appropriate, request the corresponding consent.
CHAPTER VI. Purposes of the Processing of Personal Data
The personal data collected by Dudev will be processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice and in accordance with the principles set out in the Applicable Legislation.
Depending on how the User interacts with Telmi, their personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- a) Account creation and management: register the User within the platform, authenticate their identity, manage their account, and allow access to the features available according to the account type or contracted subscription.
- b) Provision of Telmi services: generate stories, illustrations, narrations, and other personalized content requested by the User through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
- c) Personalization of the User experience: adapt content, recommendations, language, reading preferences, and other features according to the configuration and preferences selected by the User.
- d) Management of child profiles: allow parents or guardians to manage one or more child profiles, personalize the experience, and organize the content generated for each profile.
- e) Subscription management: manage subscription plans, verify their validity, enable or restrict Premium features, manage automatic renewals, and maintain the corresponding history.
- f) User support: handle technical support requests, respond to inquiries, investigate reported incidents, resolve errors, and provide assistance related to the operation of the platform.
- g) Platform security: prevent unauthorized access, detect fraudulent activity, protect the integrity of the systems, investigate security incidents, and ensure the proper functioning of Telmi.
Dudev may generate statistical, analytical, or aggregated information from the data obtained through use of the platform, provided that such information does not allow a natural person to be identified directly or indirectly.
Anonymized information may be used for research, technological development, service improvement, trend analysis, performance metrics, and decision-making related to the operation of Telmi.
CHAPTER VII. Transfer of Personal Data
Dudev may share or transfer certain personal data when necessary to provide the services offered through Telmi, to comply with legal obligations, or in any of the cases permitted by the Applicable Legislation.
In all cases, Dudev will seek to limit such transfers to the information strictly necessary to fulfill the corresponding purpose and will adopt reasonable measures to verify that the receiving third parties provide an adequate level of protection of personal data.
Subscriptions contracted through the application for iOS devices are processed exclusively by Apple, through the App Store. Consequently, Dudev does not receive or store the complete information corresponding to bank cards or other means of payment used by Users, and the processing of financial information carried out by Apple is subject to its own terms and privacy policies.
To generate stories, illustrations, narrations, and other personalized content requested by Users, Dudev may use services provided by specialized third-party artificial intelligence providers.
Due to the technological nature of the services offered by Telmi, some of the providers used by Dudev may store or process information on servers located outside the United Mexican States.
Dudev will seek to ensure that such transfers are carried out only with providers that implement reasonable standards of security and personal data protection, in accordance with the Applicable Legislation.
Except in cases where the Applicable Legislation allows transfers to be made without requiring the data owner's consent, Dudev will request the corresponding consent when it is legally required.
CHAPTER VIII. Tracking Technologies and Automated Tools
In order to operate, maintain, protect, and improve the services offered through Telmi, Dudev may use various automated technologies that collect certain technical information related to the operation of the application and the interaction of Users with the platform.
These technologies may include, among others: cookies; device identifiers; SDKs (Software Development Kits); system logs; usage analytics tools; performance monitoring tools; error diagnostic tools (crash reporting); and other similar technologies.
If the User uses the Telmi website, Dudev may use cookies and similar technologies to improve navigation, remember preferences, and analyze the site's operation.
The User may configure their browser to reject or delete cookies; however, such configuration may affect the operation of certain features of the website.
Currently, Telmi does not use Users' personal data to display personalized advertising based on individual profiles.
Should Dudev in the future incorporate advertising services that involve a different processing of personal data, it will inform Users in a timely manner by updating this Privacy Notice and, where applicable, will request the corresponding consent.
CHAPTER IX. Rights of the Data Owner over their Personal Data
Dudev informs the User that, in accordance with Chapter Three of the LFPDPPP, you have the right to exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection to personal data (ARCO rights), directly with the Controller, by requesting it at the following email address: info@dudev.com.mx.
The owner of the personal data, personally or through a duly accredited legal representative, may initiate the ARCO rights procedure to require the proper processing of their personal data, as well as to request the discontinuation of the use of their information.
ARCO Rights are understood as:
- Right of Access: the power the owner has over the information concerning them, as well as the right to access and know the processing of their personal information, and the scope, conditions, and general aspects of such processing.
- Right of Rectification: the owner may request that the company correct personal data held in its databases when it is incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
- Right of Cancellation: the owner has the right, at any time, to request that the controller cancel and delete their personal data when they consider it is not being processed in accordance with the principles, duties, and obligations set out in the Law.
- Right of Objection: the owner may object to or request that the processing of their personal information cease in specific situations, justifying a legitimate reason derived from their own personal situation, in order to avoid harm resulting from the continued processing of such data.
The request must contain at least the full name of the data owner, their address, email address, documents proving identity or representation, a description of the information over which an ARCO right is intended to be exercised, any other element that allows the location of the personal data and the handling and resolution of the request, as well as any other documentation supporting the request.
If the request is incomplete or requires additional information to be handled, Dudev may require the owner to remedy the corresponding information in accordance with the procedure set out in the applicable legislation.
Dudev may deny total or partial access, rectification, cancellation, and/or objection to the processing of the data in the following cases:
- When the requester is not the owner, or the legal representative is not accredited to act as such.
- When the requester's Personal Data is not found in Telmi's database.
- When the rights of a third party are affected.
- When there is a legal impediment or a resolution from an authority.
- When the rectification, cancellation, or objection has already been carried out, such that the request has no subject matter.
Likewise, when the information collected in the Personal Data ceases to be necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this Notice and in the applicable legal provisions, the Personal Data will be deleted from Telmi's databases.
Dudev will follow up on the requests submitted in accordance with the timeframes set out in the Applicable Legislation.
If the request is deemed valid, it will be handled within the legally established timeframes, and the owner will be informed of the decision taken through the contact method provided.
The owner may request that Dudev limit the use or disclosure of their personal data for the purposes legally permitted.
To do so, they must submit the corresponding request via the email address indicated in this Notice. Where applicable, Dudev will adopt the reasonable measures necessary to handle the request in accordance with the Applicable Legislation.
CHAPTER X. Retention of Personal Data
Dudev will retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, as well as to comply with any applicable legal, regulatory, tax, contractual, or other obligations.
Once the personal data is no longer necessary for such purposes and the retention period required by applicable legislation ends, Dudev will proceed to delete, suppress, anonymize, or block it, as appropriate and in accordance with its internal information management policies.
When the information has been anonymized so that it no longer allows a natural person to be identified directly or indirectly, Dudev may retain it for statistical, analytical, research, technological development, or service improvement purposes.
CHAPTER XI. Security Measures
Dudev implements reasonably appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, and unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or processing.
However, the User acknowledges that no computer system, communications network, or electronic transmission mechanism can guarantee an absolute level of security.
Consequently, although Dudev adopts reasonable measures to protect personal information, it cannot guarantee that personal data will remain completely free from unauthorized access, cyberattacks, technological failures, or other events beyond its reasonable control.
If a security incident is identified that, under the Applicable Legislation, could significantly affect the financial or moral rights of data owners, Dudev will adopt the corresponding measures and will inform the owners in a timely manner where legally applicable.
CHAPTER XII. Amendments to the Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice may undergo modifications, changes, or updates arising from new legal requirements, Telmi's own needs, privacy practices, or various causes. Dudev therefore reserves the right to make, at any time, any necessary modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice.
Dudev will make the updated version of the Privacy Notice available on the Website and within Telmi. Likewise, any modification to this Privacy Notice will be notified to Telmi users by email.
